Honoring Our Heritage
This memorial service commemorates the brave soldiers of the Dinaric Division and other units under the leadership of their commanders. The service honors those who gave their lives in defense of Orthodox faith and Serbian freedom.
We particularly remember veterans like Ranko Majstorovic, who served with the Dinaric Division under Vojvoda Momčilo Đujić. At 95 years old, his life represents the courage and dedication of his entire generation.
About the Celebration
Following Orthodox tradition, this dual observance combines the Feast of Saint George - patron of warriors and soldiers - with the Četnik slava celebration.
After the liturgy and memorial service, the community will gather in the church hall for the traditional banquet and cultural program.
You Are Invited
All members of the Saint Sava Cathedral community are cordially invited to participate in this memorial service and cultural celebration. Whether you have family connections to this history or simply wish to honor those who served, your presence enriches our community remembrance.
