In response to the recent "public appeal" circulating online that expresses personal views directed against His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, we, the faithful Serbian Orthodox community in the diaspora, wish to make our position abundantly clear:

We stand in unwavering solidarity with His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije and the honorable hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church who steadfastly uphold the dignity, canonical order, and sacred traditions of our Holy Serbian Orthodox Church during these challenging times.

With profound concern, we observe attempts by certain bishops—particularly those who have demonstrated financial impropriety—to manipulate public opinion through inappropriate media engagement that violates proper ecclesiastical protocols. We categorically reject being used as instruments in these divisive efforts that undermine the legitimate authority and governance of our Holy Serbian Orthodox Church.

We hereby publicly distance ourselves from the aforementioned "public appeal" and respectfully implore His Holiness to extend his patriarchal protection to all faithful Serbian Orthodox Christians in the diaspora. We humbly ask that he exercise his God-given authority to restore proper order and discipline within the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Our community refuses to become unwitting participants in any scheme designed to disrupt ecclesiastical harmony or foment discord within our beloved Church. What presents itself as legitimate criticism appears, upon closer examination, as nothing less than a calculated attempt to orchestrate internal division and challenge the rightful governance of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

We remain devoted children of the Serbian Orthodox Church, committed to its unity and canonical order under the wise leadership of His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije.

We pray daily for his health, strength, and many years of service, that God may grant him wisdom and fortitude as he guides our Church through these challenging times.
