A story from diocesan corridors — when even the “beloved” begin to see the truth
From several sources close to this blog, we have learned that the "beloved" Z.S. has been telling people that her grandson M.D. — the administrator of the diocesan internet page — has not been paid in six months.
“Only a miracle can save it now.”
To those who have been closely following the diocese’s financial situation, this comes as no surprise. What is noteworthy — and telling — is that even the most loyal supporters are slowly but surely opening their eyes. The diocese is, increasingly obviously, on the brink of bankruptcy.
When even loyal staff members stop receiving their paychecks, it is clear the ship is sinking — even to those on the first-class deck.
Guess who didn't get a paycheck for six months either? Father Dragoslav.
