A Reply to "о. Драган Вуковић" and His Masters
Dear "Father" Dragan,
Thank you for your lengthy sermon about "unity, love, and obedience." It would be touching - if it weren't so transparently manipulative. If it weren't being preached by a man who walked into our cathedral alongside actual thieves who broke in on December 5th, terrorized a priest's family, and caused his wife to collapse unconscious.
But let's address your points one by one, since you had so much to say to "lopovi" - as you so charitably called the faithful who built this cathedral.
ON "BLOCKING THE ENTRANCE"
You say we "blocked the entrance to the holy temple, preventing services and communion of the faithful."
LIE NUMBER ONE.
We are standing OUTSIDE. The doors are OPEN. Anyone who wants to enter can enter. The problem isn't that we're blocking anyone - the problem is that YOU DON'T HAVE A CONGREGATION because the faithful refuse to legitimize canonical crime with their presence.
120 families stand in -2°F snowstorms by choice. Not because doors are locked. Not because we're preventing anyone. Because we choose truth over complicity.
If your "Liturgy" is so blessed by God, why do you need police cars at 8:00 AM to protect it? Why does Dragan Knezevic need to guard the stairs to prevent photography? What are you hiding, "Father"?
Oh right - the EMPTY CHAIRS.
ON "UNITY"
You speak beautifully about unity. You quote St. Ignatius of Antioch, St. Cyprian of Carthage, St. John Chrysostom - all the greatest saints who defended canonical order against corruption.
Ironic, isn't it?
Because Bishop Irinej Dobrijević violated Article 45 of the Holy Synod's Regulations twelve days after they were adopted. He installed his kuma (Stanka Nikolić), her sister's husband (Dragan Obrenić), a married couple (Katarina & Maryan Derekh - husband and wife both on the board), and other kumovi on the parish board in direct violation of regulations that specifically forbid this without written episcopal approval.
Where is that written approval, "Father"? Show us the document from the Holy Synod permitting this kumovi network to govern St. Sava Cathedral.
You can't. Because it doesn't exist.
So when you preach about "unity" and "obedience to canonical order" - you're actually preaching obedience to canonical CRIME.
St. Ignatius said: "Follow the bishop as Jesus Christ follows the Father." True. But he also said: "Where the bishop is, there is the Catholic Church." And when a bishop violates canon law, when a bishop terrorizes families, when a bishop steals from the people - he ceases to be a bishop in anything but name.
He becomes a wolf.
And you, "Father" Dragan, are the hired hand who sees the wolf and runs toward him, not away from him.
ON THE "SCHISM"
You warn us about schism. You invoke the terrible words of St. John Chrysostom: "The sin of schism cannot be washed away even by martyr's blood."
Powerful words.
Now let me ask you: Who is creating the schism?
Is it the 120 families who filed canonical appeals to the Holy Synod following proper procedure?
Or is it the bishop who:
Violated Article 45 (documented, undeniable)
Removed Fr. Dragoslav without any reason but retaliation
Terrorized his family during a December 5th home invasion
Accumulated $270,000+ in tax debt at Marča Monastery
Installed an illegal kumovi board
Created a fake propaganda website (orthodoxintegrity.org) registered on November 30, 2025 - just ten days after the Holy Synod adopted regulations forbidding his actions. Tell us, "Father": How is THAT legitimate news? Or is it just that no legitimate outlet would publish such lies, so he had to create his own "news source" to spread them?
Who is the schismatic here, "Father"?
The people following canonical procedure? Or the bishop violating canon law?
St. Cyprian of Carthage - whom you quote so piously - also said: "He cannot have God for his father who does not have the Church for his mother."
Exactly.
And when a bishop poisons the Church with canonical violations, financial corruption, and terrorizing of families - HE is the one who has abandoned the Mother Church, not those who defend her.
ON "OBEDIENCE"
You speak at length about obedience. You say: "Perhaps that word falls hard on the ears of the modern age, but in the Church, obedience does not mean blind submission to man, but faith that the Holy Spirit guides the Church through canonical order."
FINALLY, SOMETHING WE AGREE ON!
The Holy Spirit guides the Church through CANONICAL ORDER.
Article 45. Adopted November 20, 2025. Violated December 2-3, 2025.
So when you demand our "obedience" to a bishop who violated the Holy Synod's Regulations twelve days after they were adopted - you're not asking for obedience to the Holy Spirit.
You're asking for obedience to lawlessness.
St. Ignatius said: "Whoever honors the bishop, God honors; whoever does anything in secret from the bishop serves the devil."
True again.
But what about the bishop who does things in secret FROM THE HOLY SYNOD? Who violates their regulations in secret? Who creates fake propaganda websites in secret? Who terrorizes families in secret (except we have it on VIDEO)?
Does GOD honor such a bishop, "Father"?
Or does such a bishop serve someone else?
ON THE "LITURGY"
You speak beautifully about the Holy Liturgy being the "heart and soul of the Church." You say we "deprive the faithful of Christ" by our peaceful witness outside.
More manipulation.
Nobody is depriving anyone of Liturgy. The doors are open. Anyone can enter. YOU are the one conducting Liturgy over an illegally installed board in violation of canon law.
That's not the Divine Liturgy. That's theater.
The Divine Liturgy requires canonical order. St. Ignatius - whom you love to quote - said clearly: "Let that Eucharist be considered valid which is under the bishop or him to whom he commits it."
Show us the Holy Synod's approval of your kumovi board, "Father."
Show us the mistake Fr. Dragoslav made.
Show us ANY canonical legitimacy for this occupation.
You can't. Because there is none.
So when you stand at that altar - beautiful as it is, built by the hands of those you call "lopovi" - you're not celebrating the Divine Liturgy.
You're desecrating it.
ON FR. DRAGOSLAV
You speak condescendingly about our love for "your former priest, whom you have loved."
Let's talk about REAL love and respect, "Father."
YOU can only DREAM that anyone would love and respect you the way we love and respect Fr. Dragoslav Kosić. That kind of love isn't demanded - it's EARNED. Through decade of faithful service. Through baptizing our children. Through burying our parents. Through being present in our lives - in joy and in sorrow.
Fr. Dragoslav earned that love by being a TRUE shepherd - one who knows his sheep by name, who smells like his sheep, who would never terrorize a family or walk alongside thieves.
You and your bishop? You demand "obedience" at gunpoint (police at 8:00 AM). You demand "respect" while violating canon law. You demand "unity" while creating division.
That's not love. That's tyranny.
And you wonder why the chairs are empty?
Now, to your actual claim about Fr. Dragoslav being our "former priest":
"Former priest"?
Father Dragoslav Kosić was fired only because of VENGEANCE towards us.
That's not canonical removal. That's mafia tactics.
And on December 5th, 2025, Bishop Irinej's team (including your colleague Dragan Knezevic - the one now guarding your stairs from cameras) invaded Fr. Dragoslav's home, terrorized his family, and caused his wife (our Protinica) to collapse unconscious while their children screamed in terror.
We have video, "Father."
So when you ask us: "Do you think that priest would want you to tear apart the Church for him?"
We answer: Fr. Dragoslav would never terrorize a family. Fr. Dragoslav would never violate canon law. Fr. Dragoslav would never walk into a cathedral alongside thieves and call the faithful "lopovi."
That's the difference between a shepherd and a wolf.
ON THE "THIEVES"
Let's talk about who the real thieves are, shall we?
You walked into OUR cathedral - built by our grandparents, maintained by our labor, paid for by our donations - alongside:
Stanka Nikolić (Bishop's kuma)
Dragan Obrenić (married to Stanka's sister)
Katarina & Maryan Derekh (husband and wife - BOTH on the board!)
Bob Ćosić (not even a parish member)
Svetlana Ikić (parish hopper)
All installed in violation of Article 45.
You walked in alongside the people who broke into Fr. Dragoslav's home on December 5th.
You walked in under police protection at 8:00 AM because you know the faithful won't legitimize this farce.
And YOU called US "lopovi"?
MATTHEW 7:3-5: "Why do you see the speck in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."
ON "PERSECUTION"
You comfort those who "remain faithful to the Church in these difficult circumstances." You tell them they are "persecuted for righteousness."
More inversion of reality.
The 120 families standing in -2°F snowstorms - THEY are the persecuted ones.
The children who heard their father's family terrorized on December 5th - THEY are the persecuted ones.
The Protinica who collapsed unconscious - SHE is the persecuted one.
Fr. Dragoslav, removed without trial - HE is the persecuted one.
You, "Father," conducting Liturgy under police protection with an empty congregation - you are not persecuted.
You are the persecutor's accomplice.
ON YOUR "FATHERLY APPEAL"
You end with a "fatherly appeal" for us to "calm down and return to the right path."
How DARE you.
We ARE on the right path. We filed canonical appeals to the Holy Synod. We are following proper procedure. We are standing in the snow rather than legitimizing canonical crime.
You are on the WRONG path. You are conducting Liturgy over an illegal board. You are serving a bishop who violated canon law. You walked in alongside thieves and called the faithful "lopovi."
You want us to "return"? Return to WHAT?
Return to pretending Article 45 doesn't exist?Return to pretending December 5th didn't happen?Return to pretending $270,000 in tax debt is acceptable?Return to pretending terrorizing families is pastoral care?
NEVER.
CONCLUSION: WHO IS THE THIEF?
"Father" Dragan Vuković, you accuse us of being thieves. So let's clarify:
THIEVES are those who:
Steal canonical order (Article 45 violation)
Steal a priest's position without trial (Fr. Dragoslav)
Steal a family's peace (December 5th home invasion)
Steal parish funds (where's the $270,000?)
Steal the faithful's cathedral (police at 8:00 AM, guards on stairs, antimins, broken cameras)
DEFENDERS are those who:
Stand in -2°F to witness truth
File canonical appeals following proper procedure
Refuse to legitimize crime with their presence
Protect their souls from corruption by choosing the snowstorm over complicity
You call us "lopovi."
We call you what you are: A FALSE SHEPHERD.
OUR MESSAGE TO YOU
We will not enter that cathedral while it is governed by an illegal board.
We will not participate in your theatrical "Liturgy" conducted in violation of canon law.
We will not pretend that Article 45 doesn't exist.
We will not forget December 5th.
We will not stop filing canonical appeals.
We will not stop witnessing to truth.
And we will not stop standing in the snow - for seven Sundays, for seventy Sundays if necessary - until canonical order is restored.
You can call us "lopovi" all you want.
God knows who the real thieves are.
And so does St. Sava, watching from that mosaic above the door.
A FINAL WORD
St. John Chrysostom, whom you quoted about schism, also said something else:
"The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops."
And priests who serve corrupt bishops?
They're the tiles between the skulls.
Think about that, "Father," next time you stand at that altar under police protection, conducting Liturgy over an illegal board, in a cathedral emptied by your own corruption.
Think about what St. Sava sees when he looks down from that mosaic.
A shepherd defending his flock?
Or a wolf in shepherd's clothing, calling the sheep "thieves"?
